Great morning's cricket. 63-5 at lunch. You can't blame Dhoni for putting his side in--the wicket looked promising to bat on, but the combination of deep moisture and no sun at first put Anderson and Broad in charge. Cook admitted he would have batted too. Get those tellys on--this is good stuff.

When the cameras panned to the Theatre of Broken Dreams, Old Trafford seemed far more the place to be. On a summer day like this, when even the sun came out in Manchester, I realized how tired I am of the PL and its endless, stupid hype.

A fantastic social game to show kids how to behave, compete, win, lose and respect opponents, team mates and interact with the umpires, coaches and adults. I love cricket and all that sail in her. Respect!

I argued with umpires, sledged opposing batsman, purposefully bounced out tail-enders ..Shook hands at the end mind and enjoyed a pint. Great game, seriously wish I'd played more than I did later on in life.
