When i was a kid living in Ellesmere Port over the summer we did Southport one weekend followed by North Wales the next (Rhyl/LLandudno/Conway/Prestatyn etc) In Southport the sea if fucking miles away , Rhyl its a bit closer and to be fair and we only went today for the beach , We've done Southport & the Gormley statue beach recently but the sea at those is shit, any tips on places to go are gratefully received as we are off this week, assuming we're not put on total lock-down
