Harvest Cooley I couldn't care less if ours was bright pink with furry dice and 'Him and Her' on the windscreen. I see them as a means of getting from a to b, no more. Having said that, the present one has a fucking ace sound system!
Jon Yesterday’s work looks disastrous. Thank God I had nothing to do with it. Currently enjoying the finger pointing.
CharlieG Cooley Mrs G had one for years and loved it. All three kids learned to drive in it and subsequently, fought over who could borrow it.
Jon Cooley Impressive graffiti. Used to be football teams, band names, political statements and declarations of undying love. Movie recommendations is a new one on me.
Travis_Bickle Cooley my car's got 185k on it. New discs and pads next week. And the headlamps nearly failed the MOT last month (not convinced they actually passed but I've used the garage for years). If they need replacing it's full units. That's £600. Car's not worth much over £2k at best. Then I look at what cars go for these days and reckon I'll just keep it a bit longer.
Cooley Jon On the same wall is ‘It’s Only Rock and Roll’, but it’s so faded as to be indistinguishable.
Harvest Travis_Bickle That was a complete misunderstanding about a Burger King takeaway. Things got out of hand and apologies were given to all concerned. He still writes occasionally.
Cooley Travis_Bickle You surprise me. Bearing in mind what you do, I’d have expected a fleet of quality motors : a bit like Boycie’s forecourt. However, I’m probably as guilty (your honour) as the next man in thinking those in the legal profession earn more than they actually do.
cordshoes My lad will be learning to drive soon, and then he'll probably be mithering for a small motor. I fancy getting him one of these, as I think they are a modern classic in the making. He won't stand for it, but i'll try.
Travis_Bickle cordshoes I had one of those in dark blue. Loved it. Cheap as chips to run and maintain. I say maintain, it never really needed anything doing.
