Parador Lorca. The new one. Built into the fabric of the 11th century moorish castle and earlier jewish Synagogue. Views to die for. Restaurant Michelin commended already and very good and not unreasonsable - 107 euros for 2, 3 courses, beer, bottle of very good vino finished off with a coffee. Mash was lumpy though. Lorca still being reconstructed after the earthquake of 3 or 4 years ago. Parts of it a bloody mess. But it has got stuff around it from Celt-iberian civilisations through phoenecian, Roman, carthagian, moorish and christian. They had to jump through hoops to build it though after opposition from various archaeological groups. Blends in superbly. If you're down that way, even passing, well worth a halt.
