Not there now, but just spent a couple of days in Arroyo Frio in the sierra Segura & Cazorla. One of the most stunning places I've ever stayed. Green, mountains, forests and lakes. Food amazing - all venison, wild boar and stuff. Highly recommended. Like a Spanish lake district. Loads to do - trekking, horsing, 4x4ing, canoeing, climbing, fishing (actually saw a Refugio Pesca - it's like a refuge for battered fish), eating, drinking. Creatures everywhere (the ones franco didn't shoot). Highly recommended. 30 degrees and there was still snow on the sierra nevada.
