Foxy_Dread The team over the wall was the club with greater links to the football club so I gravitated to them. Northowram Hedge Top as they were known. The lot your lad played against played in the Bradford Central League and were the more serious cricketers. Lightcliffe were always one of the better clubs back then. The best Northowram batsman of my generation David Witherspoon opened for them. A nice dull post.

Travis_Bickle cordshoes have a drive up Holme Moss if you've time. My Mum rented a house overlooking the reservoir just before you hit Holme village proper. Row of terraces. Great climb on the bike, proper steep by the band room at the start of the climb.
