Having a great time in Puerto Pollenca, but have circa 18 mosquito bites on my ankles and legs. Not good.

Off for dinner with some family members in Alcudia old town at 3.30pm today, did Pollenca old town on Sunday, a long boozy lunch at La Placeta. My wife lost all notion of memory from getting in the taxi at 6.00pm until the morning 😂

Top tip. Red hot teaspoon out of your coffee or run under the hot tap. Apply to bites. Possible tapping motion required if not big on heat. The one thing that really works to stop the itch. Hand sanitizer also good but not so much.

Bath, reading Animal House. JB has just left the NME. The fanzine years are exhilarating. Some of the personal stuff is genuinely heartbreaking and, sadly, about to get worse. Its very brave writing in parts. There’s no middle ground here. It’s elation or devastation. No bubble bath so I’ve had to substitute with golden turmeric shampoo. I smell wonderful. Cranberry juice. Morricone playlist, film scores.
