Beautiful day in Ynys Mon today, up and at it and going North West for a coastal path walk, then lunch in Rhoscolyn.

These photos of the headland walk at Beaumaris looking across the Menai yesterday didn't do the view/weather justice.

Went to a refurbed pub as we had heard it had a nice terrace with views. Food was not great but the view was.

That's two Heineken 0% bottles in a pint glass - not a patch on the San Miguel to me.

H is correct. It was casual labour ie employment agency. It’s cool. I’m fully aware of the drawbacks : zero-hour contract, can be dismissed at any time etc. I - and several others - were there because 50% of his staff had fucked off in the past three months. Now I know why.

Anchor Slooppy Shrew ,ate there as well . Room is fine , a bit noisy as we are on the front , they supply good ear plugs though . Food was good, place has a nice atmosphere.
Long time since we've been to Shrewsbury, really nice selection of pubs and restaurants, sunny day as well , always helps . Play was good . Successful birthday treat for Mrs D.
