About 2pm today, on Newborough beach. Blessed with the weather so far, especially as we set off in the rain yesterday.
This beach has shot to the top of my favourite ones in Anglesey. There's dunes, a nature reserve and a huge pine forest behind you, and this in front of you (shot taken at high tide), rolling in and out, cancelling out what the Dalai Lama calls the 'river of shit' flowing through our heads every day:

If you look left, you can see down to Dinas Dinlle and the Llลทn Peninsula:

And turning right, reveals Llanddwyn:

Turned right through the dunes and picked up the forest path:

It led back to car park, at which I had a can of Barr's Pineapple pop, and then a drive across to Red Wharf Bay for my favourite cake, which is sort of a deconstructed Jaffa Cake:

Supposed to rain tomorrow, we've got Rhosneigr or Rhoscolyn planned in.
It's a great island.
