CharlieG The plastics thing is unbelievable. We were in the Galapagos a couple of years ago and walking on deserted beaches in the middle of the pacific ocean you still came across this shit. The amount of crap the yanks, chinese and latin americans dump in their rivers and sea is unbelievable. Fucking coca cola should be shutdown. That would make an immediate improvementy on the environment and health in general. It's odd because Quito and Andean Ecuador in general are some one of the cleanest places I've ever been to. The same cannot be said of Guayaquil which is a shithole.
