Anchor cordshoes im in a house in La Marina. About 30 mins south of Alicante town. SIL owns it and lets me stay on occasion.
Djpekingman Alicante centre was heaving yesterday. If you're still there Thursday onwards it's the big fiesta in town. Mascletta at Plaza Luceros at 14:00 everyday thru 24th then a big day of eating and drinking til the later early hours (5 or 6) then they start all over again. Normally 4 or 5 days at it. Worth a toby.

Jon New York Botanical Gardens, in the Bronx. My photos don’t do it justice but it’s been a great day out. They’ve got a Van Gough theme going on with some of the exhibits. You can sneer or go with it. Why sneer? Would definitely recommend single men of our ageish generation gen up on your perennials and volunteer at one of these places if one is near by.
