As you say, some nice short walks & pubs. :)[/quote]Yes , been to Hope and Castleton at least 6 times over the last 10 years. Stayed a week twice, the others long weekends. Great pubs , nice walks . Awkward place to get to for us , only about 80 miles, took me 3 hours Friday afternoon.

Tow a Caravan from Wrexham, so can’t go over snake pass .tried every way possible. Friday was exceptionally bad , took 2 hours to Macclesfield, which should be just over an hour. Setting off home now . Will report back time of journey.
