Reggie_Perrin Kevin_Stapleton doesn't exactly fill you with civic pride does it. YCCC should be a beacon of multiculturalism for all the cricket mad brownfolk of this fantastic county not some nasty shrinking memorial to an old white private club.
CBIT Opening day of the Championship home to Glamorgan, won the toss and put them in, 132-7 at one poin finished the day on 310-8.
Cooley Fucking hell, used to love my cricket me. Proper fanatic. It’s all I used to read about. These past few years though....nothing. Dunno why, there’s just nothing there.
Raposa Cooley Was it your good self that used to work at Sussex CCC at their ground in Hove? Or is my memory playing up again?
Cooley Raposa Sorry mate, only just seen this. Christ, your memory is good. About 10 years ago I was meant to have an interview at Sussex, so got in touch with Obl who put me on to a mate of his who worked there. To cut a long story short I came down with something called Labyrinthitis, couldn’t make the interview, and ended up being housebound for eight months. I was gutted because everyone: Obl, his mate and Sussex CCC were all so helpful.
