Placid Flaneur Im no expert but been chopping chopping wood and stuff in recent years. Its amazing what you learn by chopping the rounds from the trees. That trunk looks contorted, looks like a tree not healthy from the get go. Probably hence the weakness of it.

Ken_Lobster Went in the workshop late last night . The coffee i had left earlier on had frozen ! (no milk in it mind ) Not as bad as my days working in Russia though . This pic was a good day in Tartastan i remember nights up on the Derrick with the wind chill being around - 35 .
CharlieG Got down to -11⁰C last night. Currently -6⁰C. Youngest daughter's mate's dog ran off and got lost on Sale, yesterday afternoon. They found her earlier on this morning - half frozen but thankfully still alive. The daughter is in our bath, thawing out.
