After my first year at building college studying Air Con' design I landed a summer work experience job at Haden International. I ended up pootling around with one of the maintenance and commissioning engineers. Spent quite a lot of time at Menwith Hill, which was a tad tense given the cold war. We were there one day when there was a call from the office. Apparently, there was an emergency at Fox's Biscuits! The air con had broken down at the height of summer, "the Bourbon's are melting, the Bourbon's are melting" Of we went in his Ford Cortina like the Sweeney. "Sorry mate, you'll have to put the Cold War on hold, there's a biscuit emergency."
