Well...Last night was the first big fight I've been to since hatton tszyu... I was ringside for that and it was an amazing night. We paid £165 for the tickets each. That got us in row W second tier. We wanted to watch the undercard so got in at eight after several hours drinking. I could see the ring, I could just about see the boxers.. can't believe there wasn't a screen above the ring. No microphone in the ring either. No programmes were for sale. So I had no idea who was boxing and and I couldn't hear anything and could hardly see. I was hoping this would change for the main bout...it didn't. I honestly couldn't tell if any punches landed or not. At one point I was thinking about leaving the arena and finding a pub to watch it in. I don't see bands in big venues or arenas and there is a reason why.. I'll never go to a big boxing do again. No screens above the ring is a fuckin disgrace. I have glasses for reading not for distance. The lads in their thirties with us could see more than me but they were complaining too.. gutted really. I'm gonna have to go to the pub and watch a rerun now.. Highlight of the day was being in a pub full of scum watching the game and sporadically declaring we are Leeds.. . I need to grow up
