I think that was a real test but still not totally convinced. Probably more down to my mind set than anything Joshua has or hasn't done. He just looks a hell of a lot smaller than a lot of what passes for a top heavy weight these days. Then again, I couldn't name a single heavy weight boxer I rate right now. Holyfield was only little and he's an all time great so who knows? I wouldn't beat against him winning a belt mind. Never heard of Whyte before and I thought he was a good test. Will watch the Eubank fight later. Not sure why he's going backwards with his choice of opponent. He looks to have all the tools if he stops posturing so I think he should be looking for stiffer tests.

Don't know much about him but he's got an impressive KO percentage and a couple of good names on his record. I reckon he must have been sick as a dog when he watched his performance against Billy Joe Saunders. Obvious Saunders couldn't hurt him. He threw that fight away posturing.

Cuts, what do you make of Josh Warrington? Lots of loud support in Leeds but I can't see him beating Lee Selby.

Eubanks isn't half the fighter he thinks he is. Think he must have his Mam's chin. Same stable as Andy Lee but I reckon Lee would walk him onto a knockout punch no problem. John Jackson would probably spark him also. I'll say this for him though, he's good value and entertaining.Didn't really see the point of fighting someone beaten by Billy Joe Saunders 7 fights ago. Stood in front of Eubank and threw almost nothing consistently. A good chin, tough man but little else. Eubank should work the body. Leaves himself open whenever he unloads. Talks about GGG, fuck off. I reckon Quillan can beat him never mind Jacobs. Should go after Lee as his chin is a bit iffy if Lee overcomes Saunders. I think he will. Alvarez? Hahahaha As an aside if Saunders had a punch on him I reckon he could be a world champ. Lovely boxer.

I just had a little look on BoxRec. Couple of points. David Price hasn't beaten anyone inside the world's top 100 and when he stepped up he went straight for top 10 guys and inevitably got beat. Thompson and Teper were far too good for him.Joshua hasn't beaten anyone inside the top 70 and has just been given a moderate test by no 58.Fury has fought 4 inside the top 30 and only 1 top 10, albeit that was Klitchko.

Quigg v Frampton tonight. My theory is that Frampton's boxing might not count for much as Quigg knocks the piss out of him from 3 inches beyond Frampton's puny reach. I am probably wrong though. McGuigan has acted like a tool in this. Lost a lot of respect for him.
