Jon he was an arrogant boxer for sure. Lost to BJ Saunders because he didn't listen to Ronnie Davies. Stupid. He's no mug fighter though, he's good. Should not fight above M or maybe even LM though, too small a frame.

I thought Beterbiev won though the commentary appeared very much in his favour.
Interestingly though his corner told him he needed a knockout around round 10 apparently.

Seemed to me Beterbiev got the nod due to being on the front foot most of the fight which tends to sway some judges.
Bivol’s movement and counter punching won him a lot of the earlier rounds though and I had him 4 rounds up going into the last couple which to be fair Beterbiev won.
The judge that scored it 116-112 for Beterbiev must have watched a different fight to everyone else,
Shocking really and shit like that doesn’t do boxing any favours.

I stopped watching boxing years ago, it's always been dodgy. From the organised crime syndicates in the US running it decades ago to Foreman fighting Ali in what was previously Zaire and that lunatic Mobutu financing it, because he'd pay the most money.
The Thrilla in Manila in Quezon City was overseen by Marcos in 75. Another that robbed the people and ended up living in exile. It's all about the money and it always has been.
