Have a mate who's a copper. Decent bloke. We've spoken about how I couldn't put up with a lot of the people he works with. He says the same about me.
If you came for a drink and he was there I genuinely don't think people would have him down as a copper. He catches proper villains, murderers, major drug dealers etc. Covert observations and all that.
I also meet a lot of them through work. Not a job for me, but there are plenty of decent ones.
I genuinely think the 'culture' changes some, but a lot are exactly the sort who shouldn't be given the power a warrant card bestows on them.

I’ve had dealings - we all have on here - the last was probably about 10 years ago (when I threatened my neighbour). Funnily enough, the pair who turned up were ok.

This house is between the road and a farmers field. We think they've done a deal so he can use the house/land as access so he can build houses on the field.

The only thing I'll miss is the shed. I built it, insulated and plywood lined it and it will be too difficult to move it now. I did a too permanent job.

Fuck it. We're nearly at a place to buy somewhere. Only need to rent for another 8 months and we'll be in our own place again.
