space I think he is in the full weight catergory of a C***.
He is and has been his entire life.
I worked on a BBC live daytime show in the early 00's called House call.
Wallace came on that in his first TV incarnation - a greengrocer - and blethered on about veg. Christ.
Anyway - the show was a vehicle for new talent in many ways. It launched Trinny and Susanah, Chris Beardshaw and our Greg amongst others. Most were Ok as it goes. Chris Beardshaw gave me a lift to rugby training once as I recall. Anyway.
I remember Greg as he was an insufferable dullard and largely inappropriate. He had an oppo who I recall but have no clue what his name was. I don't remember him as he was OK. Greg would be chipping away with the stuff he's accused of now.
Personally I've never liked that sort of thing in any situation, I'm uncomfortable with it and I grew up in the 80s and my first full time job was in the galley of a cross channel ferry in 1988, so I've seen my fair share. To think he is still at it now.
It is a power play for men like this - and usually over younger women making their way in a very very challenging and fickle industry.
I can't abide people like him. File alongside Dom Littlewood, Nick Knowles et al - minor minor over paid presenters who allow their egos to spiral at others expense.
I hop-e Wallace gets all he deserves and the BBC finally learn a lesson.
Does masterchef even need him? I'd rather a chef judged the food - not a man who has the skillset of being able to taste food.
