Loose_Lips I'll bob out later. 8 cans of @Travis_Bickle special! I shudder to think. I bet you feel better. Props for getting out of bed.
Raposa One of those "can't be arsed " runs this morning. Not helped by the fact I wore my new running shoes for the first time and went arse over tit just 200 yards or so into the run and cut my elbow and knee wide open. Plodded my way around and did 3.3 miles but it felt double that to be honest. Middle age is a cunt sometimes.
Travis_Bickle Raposa I know those well. I usually get to 2.5-3 miles and know whether I can keep going or if the creaking limbs aren't up to it
Anchor Just been out. Really hot but felt great. Felt like I'd ran fast then see it was 10:40 pace. 🙄. Is that the new fast then! Was hilly though so I'm mitigating with that.
Travis_Bickle Just back from 6 miles. Bit of rain at the end. Change in the weather means fewer people out.
90Piesanhour A lot more quiet now the rain's come back. Try to push for 10k each time, just to see if I can, and I'm managing it so far.
Anchor Did a six plus today at the Wyre Forest. Busy as fuck. However it is a full multi trail spot. Enjoyed it though. Beautiful place.
90Piesanhour Another 6k tonight. Checked my resting pulse rate, 44. I'm either dying or fitter than I thought.
90Piesanhour Day off work, for a change, so had a quick run after doing all my 'chores'. Managed 10k in 56.41, which I'm pleased with, especially as it included a long hill incline. The downhill bit was good.
90Piesanhour Anchor Cheers. Doesn't feel like it at the time. I don't really feel that I get have got any faster, but my previous 10ks have all been just over an hour, so I must have improved a bit.
Anchor Weird innit. I ran the other day. Felt ace. Certain I'd shave minutes of me time. The same. Oh well. Keep keeping on.
Anchor 5 for me as well. 1000 ft of ascent in the first two miles fucked me up a treat. Did it though. Hot and sticky. Just how you like it blossom.
