Long weekend; got Friday and Monday off as it was our anniversary yesterday and the wife's birthday today. Been to Linton today, to the Fountaine Inn and had a lovely meal. Walked to Grassington, then Linton Falls and back in time for tea out tonight. No fucking work till Tuesday. Bliss.

Working ‘til one tomorrow. Listen to Harrogate v Wrexham. Watch Netflix.
Sunday food shopping, phone me folks, go for a walk.
Monday day off, Mrs C at work, so will spend the day doing fuck all before work starts again Tuesday. I’ll catch up on some reading, piddle about on the internet, have a kip.

Spent the afternoon sat in a caravan with my two month old granddaughter while everyone else went swimming. We had a right good natter. She's already got me wrapped round her finger.

Grandchildren are super ace . Picked one of mine up from school yesterday,went to the house we are about to renovate , to pick his bedroom, took him to the driving range for the first time with a little golf club I'd bought. Then football training , were I noticed what he lacks in technique, he made up for in
his ability to read the game , he's nearly 6and I'm biased. Then burger king.
I had a great time. Oh we had a look at a bonfire as well.

It's my wedding anniversary and birthday today, so we are off into Manchester. Staying at Hotel Indigo near the Football Museum and have dinner booked at San Carlo King Street West at 8.30pm. It was my favourite nephew's birthday last week and his wife has arranged for us all to be together, but he doesn't know. We are going to play it like we are in town Xmas shopping and then meet them for a drink.

The trick today is to not get too boozed up and have a nice long dinner, but my missus is already saying let's set off at 1.00pm and drop the bags off, and get into Australasia as she likes the Apple Martini's in there.

Menu for veggies in San Carlo is pretty poor and the prices have been shoved up a bit.
