It was just fucking brilliant. I cried. Soppy sod. Best feeling in the world I think is seeing friends that you’ve known for decades getting on with other friends of yours that they’ve never met before. And getting married when you’re that much older (and yup, first time!) means it’s less about family, so less judgmental (for want of a better word), you can totally be yourselves, we did these daft things like naming tables after favourite albums, “ooh, I’m sitting on Psychocandy, I see you’re on Remain In Light, look…” The venue was great, the De La Warr pavilion in the south coast. It was fucking brilliant. Absolutely knackering though.
