We all got up earlyish and went up to Durham, about 90 miles. I can't think that I've ever been before. It would have been a bit nicer if the sun was out. Lovely city but with the current situation a few things closed. Went into the cathedral, had a walk along the river, saw a kingfisher, had a nice Italian, mooched about, few shops, market etc, castle shut. Stopped in Ripon on the way back for petrol, went into the second cathedral of the day and walked along the second river of the day, also mooched about a bit more. My lad bought some map book he seemed to like, wife bought a book too, I bought a tube of Mentos.
