It was great. A few drinks in the pub, then dinner. very nice people.
Cordshoes had an ace sweatshirt on... "Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn" (as the lyric goes).
Then a train across to the gig. Got stopped by some jobsworths as we didn't get tickets (no machine on our side, but was ready to pay on the train). Bit of back and forth. Police called by the jobsworth. Bit of back and forth again, then 'released'.
Then on our way into the gig, got a good standing point and at 10.30pm left to walk to the station (with about 300 other people).
Great afternoon/night out.
