CharlieG CharlieG Didn't turn out as planned. Took the road bike with the new saddle which I thought I'd, just about, got sorted. Figured I'd get it fine tuned in the first couple of miles. Incorrect assumption. Fucked about for 10 miles like a comedy Aardman animator - adjust this by a tiny amount - eventually getting it right but got so pissed off that I lost my mojo and buggered off back home ( 22 miles/1800ft ascent). Took Mrs G out to the Solway Firth coast, for a walk and lunch at a gaff called the Lowther Arms ( recommended). Been out this morning and got 28 miles and 2500ft ascent. Watching the match, later. Probably through my fingers from behind the sofa.
