The lad's 18th weekend, his actual birthday is Monday. A few of his mates have all been turning 18 recently and he's been to a few nights out and shindigs - what does he want to do? Sod all! Just doesn't want a fuss. Fair enough.
Tomorrow, the two of us are walking up Whernside. I can feel the day he goes off to uni getting closer so need to keep doing things like this before it's too late. It's my lastf of the three peaks, he's done it before. No doubt a pint at the bottom.
Sunday, off into town, Apple shop for an iPhone birthday present, then lunch at Dakota Bar & Grill.
Bit of booze, music etc.
