Harvest yes, used to go up when I was based in louth and walk the promenade and pass it. Got some pics of it somewhere.

I like cleethorpes and over that way, apart from around freeman street (Grimsby)and that ace of clubs thing on road to ground. But apparently it was ace back in 80s though

It is my wife's 60th today.

We are going to an Italian restaurant in Bearwood tonight with the kids and their partners.

Tomorrow she has invited friends to the local and is buying pizza.

Sunday we are flying to Dublin early doors and picking a car up and heading north. Portrush for a few nights to explore all that coast then heading back south and a night in Belfast. I'm still a little stunned that we are going to do a load of tourist stuff in Belfast. Falls road, Crumlin road Gaol and all that - stuff in my lifetime that is now history and a tourist attraction.

Anchor That Crumlin Road jail tour's really good. Make sure to have a pint in The Crown. Free tour of Belfast City Hall which is beautiful inside, you have to book though.

Harvest I wanted to do the Gaol but the wife kyboshed it in favour of wandering around the Falls road and the Shankhill road. It was an eye opener.

Had a pint in the Crown though.

This weekend: I am putting the out of office on today at 1pm until the 20th August.

I am heading to Upton Blues Festival tomorrow morning early doors.

Once again I have little clue as to what is going on and we are taking the dog so not really sure how she will go - I road tested her in the pub last night and she was fine as long as we were sat down and she had a ball in her gob.

Anchor It's a barrel of laughs up that way isn't it? We walked up the Crumlin Road then cut across through proddyland, though the peace wall and up and down the Shankhill. In the middle of proddyland there'd be taxis and minibuses taking a few scared looking tourists to see the sights/sites. Some fantastic street art though on both sides - from the triumphalist orange Boyne Boyne Boyne like 1690 was yesterday to the beautiful words of Bobby Sands. With the talent to hand Imagine how great Ulster could be if there was no sectarianism.

Djpekingman Also walked around the Bogside when we were in Derry - now that does have an edge.

Djpekingman Agree 100% - we wandered around all that and were stopped by two people in the catholic area asking how we were doing. A taxi driver and a nurse. Both gave us their take on things. Interestingly they see the smart phone as the best thing that has broken down sectarianism in a good while - however the murals on both sides - no one will be ever be able to forget will they.
