space space Daughter has asked for toad in the hole tomorrow. I’ve not made that for years. Just as we were about to eat my son turned up with his girlfriend so they ate mine (and the one spare portion). It looked nice. It smelt nice. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it. I had a cheese sandwich. Bastards.
space white_dragon I’m doing toad in the hole next week on one of my nights to cook. I used to make it with an eggier than normal batter in a big tray, with fresh rosemary on top. Served with mashed spuds and onion gravy.
