Harvest Roast pork, roast spuds, load of veg and gravy. Would pay good money for that in a boozer. This house doesn't appreciate my culinary skills.
CharlieG Mrs G's homemade chicken, leak and mushroom pie. Her's was the veggie version with sweet potato instead of chicken.
Anchor I had vegan tea. Quorn sausage, honey roast parsnips (honey is vegan - right), roast carrots, roast sweet potato, roast baby spuds, swede and carrot mash and corn on the cob. Yum.
heyho Bod I'm not a keen fan on pork but decided to have a go with one in the Ninja. Cooked via pressure cooker first then air fried, jeez the crackling was to die for. And finished off with the roast option.. I might try it again.
Bod heyho what are those air fryers like, good for chicken and chips I've heard. I've been looking at pressure cookers as well, but some are poorly built nowadays
heyho Bod To be honest quite good but the draw back is cooking it all and it all being hot at once. The other day I did a joint in it and a whole chicken plus roasted veg and also jacket potatoes. Thats four separate cooks. All were nice (especially the joint and the jacket potatoes) but a chicken is set to 25 mins pressure cook (before air fry to crisp it) but it actuallt takes as long again for the pressure to get up to full. Certainly not just an air fryer. In fact you can dry fruit out in them as well (takes ages) and some have the pressure cooker feature.
Foxy_Dread Reggie_Perrin I'm going to sound like a prick here but it's not intentional. What is a farm egg? An egg that comes from a farm or is there something more to the label?
Foxy_Dread Hopefully a can of Vocation's Life and Death when the 'team' at work fuck off and leave me in peace for the last two hours of my shift.
Foxy_Dread Just about to go in the oven. This morning I've had ago at my favourite bread recipe converted to a vegan loaf, a chilli for me only (out of date fake mince) and a pizza. Now to work.
