Without over-critiquing that package, I'll gonna tell you what I'd buy, with £3K, knowing what I know about 'acoustics' and spending a lot of money on hi-fi.
First off, the biggest thing you need to overcome is the room, and there will be standing waves, nulls, reflections etc. Plus your hearing changes as you get older, plus the sound quality of material - CD mastering and streaming files.
I love the sound of my system, but I could have spent far less money and achieved something close.
This is what I'd spend my own £3K on:
1) Lyngdorf Audio TDAI-1120 Amplifier/Streamer
This is an amplifier that includes your streamer. Best of all it includes room correction based on measurements of your room from the included microphone and software. You will not be up and down, out of your seat, turning the treble up, adjusting the bass. Runs from an App for your phone/iPad.
Price is circa £2000, which leaves you £1000 for a CD player, speakers, cables and stands.

2) Marantz CD6007 CD Player
Great CD player at £379 (there's an Audiolab 6000 at £399 as an option)

3) Q Acoustics 3030i Loudspeakers
I have these and I have kept them for my second system. I have the stands too. This range has been superseded, but hey, I'm using a loudspeaker design from the 1970's.
I have the white ones, but they do other colours.

They are deep (from front to back) and if you like the look of them, I'd buy the dedicated stands too.
You can get these speakers for £249 (which is a stonewall bargain) and the stands for £169.

This would leave you £180 for cables and interconnects.
4) Van Damme 6mm Hi-Fi Speaker Cable
It has to be the 6mm variant here. It's £16 per metre.

Let's say 2 runs of 4 metres each = £96 (including termination) - yours would be banana to banana termination.
This now leaves you with £80 for interconnects. Your amp contains the streamer, so no connection needed there, only the CD player requires a connection.
On your amp you have 2 x Optical and 2 x Coaxial (I would recommend this rather than the RCA connection).
On the back of the Marantz CD player, you have Optical and Coaxial, so I'd buy what I use, the Mark Grant coaxial cable at say 2 metres (as I don't know how close the Lyndgorf and Marantz would be from each other). This would be £34

As an option, you could also buy an optical cable to see if there is a difference in sound (my CD player is connected via optical and my streamer is connected by coaxial).
You don't need to go crazy here, but you do need this cable to be a minimum of 1.5 metres (don't ask why, just be glad I've researched this.) I had a fancy QED one, but I use one that came with the soundbar that connects to my TV in the caravan and it's fine.
