The Fabia had been fine until last year when it needed a new battery and alternator. The latest was that the EPC light kept coming on and it kept going into limp mode. The diagnostics said something to do with the accelerator pedal position. Got a new accelerator pedal with built in sensor fitted and the problem came back. They suggested faulty wiring but it could take ages to find the problem and spend loads more money and it wasn't guaranteed to fix the problem.
Saabs seem like nice cars. I know next to fuck all about cars and went with skoda because they are supposed to be reliable (same family as VW but relatively cheap). You see loads of taxis that are Skodas.
