I have bought an MP3 player. It has 64GB of memory. It was £28.
I have cancelled my spotify subscription.
I dug out my old external hard drive and found another at work. Both have 500GB of memory. So one I will keep and update and the other do a back up every so often.
My External hard drive has 20K items of music on it! Plus I have a few years worth of Bandcamp stuff to DL onto it.
I am pretty excited by all this - I have been tidying up the external hard drive folders and dragging and dropping onto this little MP3 player. It has bluetooth as well.
Go me.
So my plan is to rip some CDs and add them to my hard drive, buy bits and bobs on bandcamp and upload the digital versions onto my external hard drive and rip the off track off youtube. Also I have started using BBC sounds for some of the music playlists and listen again opportunities to find music and add to the hard drive.
I will need a new laptop in the not to distant though.
I am pretty sure I started a thread about this but i'm jiggered if I can find it.
