Set of speaker stands to get my speakers off the previous bigger unit that held my turntable (too much air interference sometimes and the tonearm would skip across the record), and a smaller Ikea unit to house my albums and CD's. Need to get a decorative strip to cover the wires and electrical stuff behind the smaller unit that the bigger unit used to cover up.
Sounds a lot better than before. Tweeters are at ear height now and I can 'toe' the speakers in to get a wider stereo area than before.
Kit list is a Clearaudio Concept turntable with moving coil cartridge, Cyrus CDi-XR CD player, Rega Brio amplifier, Yamaha WXC-50 streamer, Project S2 phono pre-amp, Q Acoustics 3030i speakers and stands, good quality QED interconnects and Linn speaker cable. Think I'm done for a few years now. The CD player is so good I'm buying a lot more CD's (generally cheaper too).
