Foxy_Dread I’d like to keep bees but our yard backs onto a school and I’m not sure the town would allow it. Also, I’be had a pretty bad allergic reaction to bee stings in the past.
We know a couple who live a few towns over, big house, big garden, she’s a snob, he’s sound. They had new neighbours she wanted to show off, an English bloke who was a professor at some university in NYC. She was bowled over having this charming, academic, with an accent no less, move next door. The honeymoon ended quickly when he dug up the back garden and swapped out the flower beds for a set up Tom and Barbra would be proud of.
