My mate used to buy ten menthol cigs and we'd sit on a bit of a wall in the little street round the back of the Woodman. Judging by the dental bills I've paid over the years, cigs might have been the better option.

Can you still get Lilt. I used to sing that totally tropical taste line to my Nan cos she was called Lil. It irked her. I used to like Tracker bars. I remember when they were first launched and there was a promo of them at Elland Road, people throwing them into the South Stand. Funny the things that stick in your mind.

I still drink Lilt. They sell it in the sarnie shop a couple of doors down from work. Much better than all that San Pellergrino stuff they sell.

All this talk of grapefruit based drinks, such as Lilt, reminded me of one of the 1970 and 80's favourite reduced-sugar grapefruit-flavoured beverages, "Fresca".When I say favourite, I mean "only".Thank goodness!
