Flaneur 90Piesanhour They are ageing paninaro pensioner chic. A shoe hated by many, but revered by a like-minded sub-set. I remember seeing them on kids when I was on school trips/holidays. I like them but can understand those who don't.
YoungParisian_inExile Flaneur yellow Lacoste sweat-shirts and Paraboots , C17 are back as well 😁 Got a pair over 10 years ago, they go on my feet as often . I like them, not cheap but you’ll have them forever
Flaneur My original pair (what I use for country walks and Anglesey beaches) have lasted me years. For such a 'big' shoe, they somehow look small when you are looking down at them, must be that short toe-piece.
cordshoes They are a bit better looking and a lot more comfortable. Second only to Finns. Had 2 pairs in the 90s from the Originals outlet shop in Accrington, for £35 a pair. The Black ones had white stitching that didn't like so rarely got worn. Think they were ones of my first Ebay sales in 2004. Right about the lacing make your feet look small. Those Yogi ones look the same.
otis Flaneur might bang mine on today for Flaneur you will. Six years and mine still got original treads
CharlieG Don't get Paraboots or Mephistos. I don't care how comfy they are, to me, they're, truly, gopping.
Bod hendersonjones the trouble with Nato straps, which I have myself is they lift the watch quite a bit off your wrist.
hendersonjones Bod Look closely it’s a length of parachute elastic it’s not a nato fits better and comfy
space Bod the trouble with Nato straps, which I have myself is they lift the watch quite a bit off your wrist. Can't you compensate by holding your arm a half inch further away from your eyes when reading the time?
Bod hendersonjones yes but the strap still goes under your watch and raises it too high, know what I'm saying
space I like the idea of owning a watch that just tells the time, but I've got used to answering calls and dealing with alarms etc by swiping my nose across my smart watch while I'm doing stuff like cooking or washing up and my hands are wet or covered in stuff. It's too useful a feature to give up. What do you do if you've got a normal watch and you want to know your altitude or pause Netflix?
