She's been cooking tea all week while I work overtime. Every meal there's a 50/50 chance that I have to throw away a piece of cookware as unwashable/unsavable. Kids are too old for childline now. I'll have to phone the UN.

Reggie_Perrin update. Had it going every night and some mornings, key is insulation, Loads of it. We had the walls floor and ceiling insulated to fuck about a month ago. we have used exactly 1 m3 in just over a month expect that to increase as we have it going during the day as the temp gets below freezing but so far so good. Ordered another 2 m3 just to be safe.

Bought an album; STR4TA - STR4TASFEAR (Gilles Peterson and Bluey from Incognito essentially), paying homage to the many Brit-Funk bands Bluey was previously in: (Light of the World and Freeez).

White vinyl. £26 or thereabouts.

Turned up and it's a 45rpm album and my turntable plays 33 and no turds.

So... I bought a new power supply and decided to change the plinth from black ash to fluted afromosia.

£500 to play a £26 album 😆
