Would it be useful to switch the Original Post and Now around, so that newer posts show first - or is there some way of just seeing newer posts?

Flaneur once you visit a thread, the software remembers where you left off.

So really the reverse scrolling isn’t needed as you should go back to the last post you read.

But yeah reverse may have made more sense to some degree. I think the thinking is it’s not twitter where the tweet before the current one is completely unrelated so it’s doesn’t matter what order you read in.

Therefore reading down makes more sense.

I’m with under_the_ground it it’s my problem and I very much appreciate the efforts made to update it and I will get used to it. Logic seems to go missing as to what posts at top of the list it a few clicks and I can find stuff.

Posting pictures is better by far.

To see your comments just go to your profile. They should all be there for your current username.

Go to your profile and you should see all posts by default
There should be a menu drop down at the top that says ‘Posts’. Change it to discussions.
You should now see all your threads that you have started. Anyone who has replied or @mentions you twitter style should be there too.

I think the people are nicer on the new forum. Some of the old gits on the old forum were a bit ripe.
