Mitaman I watched BulletTrain last night with Brad Pitt. Bizarre kind of film, sort of Lock Stock meets, cheap Japanese anime with A-listers in it. Lots of blood and guts, dark humour. 6/10, don't rush out to see it.
Bod The Offer, on Amazon I think, about the making of The Godfather, and all the problems they had, based on Al Ruddys book, the producer. Bit drawn out and some of the mafia scenes take some believing, but worth a watch. Think @Placid has seen this.

Under-the-ground Anchor watched to episode 6 for the 2nd time. Its really understated. Says it all as well. The main guy in it is cool as fuck. Makes you believe in America again. The soundtrack is great. There is a playlist on Spotify
Foxy_Dread Watching series 1 of Derry Girls, was just about to give up on it when a development drew me in. It's not great but has its moments.

Flaneur Not Netflix or Amazon, but Channel 4; Somewhere Boy. Quirky little series made up of 8 x 30 minute episodes. Young boy lives with his Dad in a sort of ramshackle family house, but he can't go outside. Then he has to. Lead actor is very good.

Under-the-ground Reggie_Perrin I loved it. The acting was real good. A slow burner. Best thing on tv this year. I found it really emotional as well, so under stated. That Anthony Bourdain book sprang to mind. Could happily watch it again & the soundtrack was good. Nothing bad from me. I loved the bit selling his clothes at the start. Proper cool bastard

EEPW All quiet on the western front. wow what a movie. Oscar material for sure. probably one of the hardest hitting War (anti war?) movies ever. 10/ 10
