Crime - from ITV. An excellent adaptation of one of Irvine Welsh's difficult novels. John Simm is a revelation as the bad boy, but the whole thing is excellent - sharp dialogue, great locations, brilliant characters, all kinds of undercurrents and allusions. First episode might initially put you off, but stick with it. It gets better and better towards the climax.
