Man that was some acting . I knew the end, but the performances were something else. Absolutely brilliant

Anchor I’ve been disappointed. Revisits the myths of the first series but not a patch on it otherwise. It’s not awful but it just suffers so much by comparison.

Ive started watching Gommorah again, gave up 4th Season. Just tiring the same saga over and over...

Gave Griselda a go and to be honest they all seem to follow a similar format.Starting to tire of the crime drama format.

Although started Kin and thats decent.

Placid I love Gommorah and the way it draws you in. The film episode after season 4 sets 5 up nicely. More twists and turns than a twisty turning thing.

I stuck with Griselda and enjoyed it. Mainly because it it being based on a true story, I suppose.
Will binge watch Kin 2 in March.

Just watched the first series of Reacher. Not great , but watchable, high death count.

Mr & Mrs Smith on Amazon Prime is quite good fun. It’s supposedly based on the dull Brad and Angelina film from a while back but is actually more like a modern version of Hart to Hart. 45 mins each episode of quite clever, non-demanding banter and moments of violence. It’s managed to get up the noses of anti-woke warriors cos the lead couple are black and East Asian heritage.

Was hoping for a bit more in that final episode but an enjoyable series all the same and all set up for series 3 it seems.

Watched the first episode of One Day last night. Very good. I'm in. The soundtrack is superb. The lass who plays Emma is excellent. She was really good in that Adam Kay drama about jnr doctors "this is going to hurt."

Anchor Yeah his books seem a bit twee and smug. I'm sure I've read one about a kid being on the University Challenge team or something and quite enjoyed it but it's not something you'd shout about is it? I can enjoy reading any old shit at times.

CBIT Yeah I was given the UC one by a lass come to mention it. To be fair to her she's such a lover of reading that she quit her job and opened a little independent book shop in King's Heath, Birmingham a couple of years ago and it seems to be doing well now.

Anchor Think its called The Heath book shop or something. Looks like a cool little shop. The lass I know is the one with dark hair, arty tattoos on her forearms and eyes the colour of a melancholy ocean. She's from Yorkshire originally but lives in Brum now.
