The penultimate episode of the Sopranos season 1 where Tony imagines the beautiful Italian lass and takes her out for lunch then slips into a sort of hallucination (within a hallucination) where he is a baby and she is his mum at the beginning of the 20th century is brilliant. Then he realises that she doesn't exist and his subconscious conjured up the whole beautiful loving mother fantasy at the same time when unbeknown to him his own mum has worked on Uncle Junior to try to have him popped. Just superb television. Almost peerless. This was when television shows really started to get excellent.

fuzzy Excellent show probably my favourite series, just started watching it again, just finished season 2. I listen to the podcast, Talking Sopranos with Michael Imperioli, 'Christopher' and Steve Schirripa, 'Bobby Bachala', they talk about each episode in detail and have special guests on from the show, very good, worth a listen.

Just finished the 3rd series of , Mayor of Kingstown. Another that's probably longer than it could be. It's alright though , you wouldn't want to live there.

Harder than The Rock - documentary thing about Cimarons, the first british reggae band. Wonderful music, stories, attitude and humour. Top bunch of lads. Great great music. Well worth a watch.

Flaneur The Jackal is very good and Redmayne is excellent really nails the part, very stylish thriller too. Did you notice a nod to the original film when he was practicing his shooting with the water melon, same style of gun Edward Fox used as well. The only gripe I have is the actress Lashana Lynch, awful character poor acting and saying she's a gun expert probably the worst shot in the series. Lots of holes in it, but I am enjoying it

Yeah spotted that, right down to the twisting of the rope to hold the gun steady.

That female lead is so one dimensional, all she brings are hard-stares and impatience. That scene with The Jackal's former troop leader in bed was so bad from her. She's got a big fat arse that annoys me too.

Flaneur that big fat arse is bonkers, as if an MI5/6 operative would be so out of shape. If they were so adamant to serve the woke brigade with a black female lead, at least make her believable. The whole subplot with her husband is shite too, He suddenly gets pissed off because of her job, when they have plainly been married for nearly 20 years. if it wasn't for her id give it a solid 9 but she drags it down to a 7.5.
