Just finished the last episode I hope the last series of the Bear.

Much better than series 3 which didn’t add much but nowhere near series 1. Very well acted & the soundtrack this time was full of st Vincent & a touch of Jason Isbell. So all good.

This has to be the end. Otherwise it will take away how good the first series was.

Bod I don’t mind some (like bits of certain tunes) of their stuff. But I can’t get into Plant’s singing.
As for the documentary, the best bits are the early years, before they were The Yardbirds/LedZep. John Paul Jones doing session work and arranging.
I’d never really thought about bands who set out to be ‘album bands’ before.

Had a bit of a Zep phase in my 20s, they knocked out some belters. Played Led Zep III the most, a lot more folky.

Djpekingman I quite liked Kirkcaldy, when I worked up there . Jackie O's , when I was young enough to go to night clubs. Spent the 98 world cup there. Cowdenbeath on the other hand , now that was rough .

oneallanclarke I finished Andor this week. I thought it was absolutely excellent. It was thanks to @Anchor , I think, that I gave it a second chance after just half-watching the first episodes and not really taking it in. I’m not at all a Star Wars fan but they did something remarkable in setting a paranoid Resistance drama for adults in that universe. The second season episodes on the increasingly repressed planet and the last one with Lumen were superb. The whole thing really reminded me of the great WWII occupied Europe spy thriller novels by Alan Furst. Anyone who enjoyed Andor for tension, paranoia, grey morality, ordinary people forced to do heroic things etc will find exactly the same in Night Soldiers, Red Gold etc.

I finished it recently, thought it was an excellent reccy from OMJ. Thanks @Anchor

Just finished Rebus on Netflix. Never watched any of the Rebus versions before. Decent. Nice views of Edinburgh.
