Half way through, The Guest, BBC and on I player. From the writers of Men Up . Fast paced thriller. Eve Myles heads a good cast and she is always worth looking at. A bit bonkers but can't wait to finish it today.

Anchor Alien EARTH might give you a clue that its not based entirely in Space. in fact only one episode is, and that's shot entirely within the confines of a large space cruiser, but it could be anywhere. Horror? im not sure if Aliens could be classed as a horror. I think its an original genre. Anyways if you haven't seen the Original Alien movie (Think "JAWS" in space) then i urge you to do so. Maybe from behind the sofa with the lights on? then progress to Alien Earth which is set just before the events in said Movie. Its superb viewing. I think Andor was recommended to you a while back and you enjoyed that? Andor is more of a "space" movie than Alien Earth. PS please tell me you have seen Jaws?

EEPW I think you'll find I did the Andor recommending! Is Andor space or just a brilliant thriller set in a different galaxy that has space ships and laser guns?

I like Star wars and that is space but other space stuff leaves me cold. Star Trek is awful for example.

I get Alien: Earth is set on earth but it has aliens so it's space.

I would class Aliens as horror - I love a low tolerance for horror.

Yes - i've seen jaws - one of my favourite films of all time.

Something not clicking for me in Alien Earth.

Aliens was hugely under appreciated.

That was my generations film early 90's. Brining in the marines and going full pelt with the idea was genius.

From 3 onwards it's been terrible.

Probably recomended before but Jorodrwosky's Dune has a little teaser to Alien and is a superb documentary about how they tried and failed to make that film the first time round.

Michael Palin in Venezuela. Absolutely genius TV. How he managed to pull enough strings to do this, especially with his almost undisguised disdain for Maduro I don't know. It's rare to see Palin lost for words but he is several times in this first episode as he visits some of Venezuela's wonders. The shots of the Angel Falls are phenomenal. I've seen the Kaiteur and Iguazu falls but these are on another scale. Sadly it's highly unlikely I'll ever get to see them.

I've been. Very little water when we got there. It was a mist by the time it hit but an incredible thing to see.

Sure most of you have seen it or you’re aware of it but I finally watched The Spy on Netflix last week.
Eli Cohen balls bigger than King Kong. Don’t get why they had him transmit at the same time each day if that’s actually how it happened. Seems like an oversight people as smart as Mossad wouldn’t make.
