Just watched that Louis Theroux doc on "The Manosphere". Putting aside his style which I sometimes think is too mild the whole thing was disturbing. Sort of gave me the feeling that exploiting young men who have no life opportunities is a bit like the last days of Rome. Deindustrialising Western economies have ripped away the ability for the unexceptional to build a decent life so they are ripe for milking. Our generation and our parents had options (engineering, manufacturing, insurance, banking) but they are all gone. To China, India, Apps and many more to AI in the future.
