I got stung my a bee as a kid but I have never held it against them. Also dont mind wasps so when everyone else is hysterical I love to try and entice it onto my finger.

Same with spiders. My son is 21 and 6ft 5" and the other night he came to me drip white. 'Dad there's a spider in my room will you get rid of it'. WTF

Trick with wasps is to hold your breath until they move on. Human breath can attract them apparantly. Like you I am amused by other peoples belief that windmilling arms and screaming like children is the best way to repel them.

I've got through the first two series of Bosch on Amazon. Considering it's a cop show about a detective who bends the rules who's got an ex-wife who still obviously likes him and an estranged teenage daughter, etc. it manages to not feel jaded and formula.

I'd give it 4 interrogation room beatings out of 5.

Cooley Glad you enjoyed it. We gave it 10 out of 10 (me and the son, that is). The subtitles about 'water running' and 'phone rings' were a bit weird, but didn't distract from the overall film.

John was Trying to Contact Aliens - 16m short on a guy who has made deep-space transmitters at his grandparents house in the US since the 70's. He plays them Kraftwerk. Lovely little thing, great images of all the hardware which he built himself taking over his grandparents house.

Just started Kingdom. Although it is about cage boxing most the story revolves around key characters and their personal lives. The storylines are sensible and 'real'. One of the key characters is a hot head and goes after two thugs who have beaten one of his family up. He goes in their house with a gun intent on shooting them only to find there is a little boy in the house. So he runs out and throws up. No more spoiler alerts.
