I'm just starting season 7 (last season) of Sons of Anarchy. There is some brilliant humour in it (like the character who latches on to them and who has a nervous disorder which makes him masturbate anywhere). they get pissed off with him so give him to the chinese gang. We decide to chop all his fingers off apart from 1 on each hand to stop his habit). He is so funny throughout the series.
Some very dark stuff as well as characters change. A lot fo sadness as surprisingly key characters are killed off unexpetedly.
probably its down side is the use of too much repetitive and predictable violence where of course its always the baddies that get killed.
Not quite Sopranos standard but I do think its worth watching. Also if you read about the characters a lot are related in real life
