They want to make him their plaything, (until they get bored and turn on him) but he is blocking it. No 1-1’s, no English, perfect!!
Edited to say that this guy speaks English (or can certainly make himself understood), make no bones about it. I read somewhere (can't seem to find it now) that his mother (an academic) was very keen on him learning English and sent him for lessons as a child.
Which fits with the LUFC narrative of boiling people's piss since 1919. He's 'avvin a laugh at them.
