I would agree that labelling people'racists' does no good, its offers no solution or path to debate.

The EDL and its hangers on are simply monkeys (unfair on the monkeys) dancing to the tune of the organ grinder here.
There's no spontaneous uprising, this isn't revolution, they're not fucking oppressed ... it's hatred being whipped up by certain people knowing exactly what they're doing to create division. Latching on to the death of 3 innocent kids to promote their agenda is disgraceful.
That there's 40 planned demonstrations... leading to potential disturbances would tend to support this

As for the police ... FFS ... more than capable of beating up and arresting peaceful anti war / environmental protesters thanks to the anti protest laws but incapable of dealing with 100 beered up / coked up blokes intent on 'rioting'. Perhaps if the EDL had 'Extinction Rebellion' banners they'd intervene ...

Part of the police response is based upon their & the government's desire to fish for a national reaction, and then a 'forced' legislative response and more powers.

All this standing off is designed to give the idea that the problem is far bigger & well organised than it is, to give the impression that they are overstretched, hence the the burning police car or van, or in the case of last night a police station (which may or may not be in use).

The government having no other option than to introduce a raft of civil liberty reducing laws. The wheelie bins in Hartlepool hadn't stopped smoldering and Kier Starmer was talking about prescribed organisations, national policing strategy, facial recognition, restriction of movement based on intel and banning orders. Action reaction.

This is where Starmer was always going to go. He securitised the CPS and put the criminal justice system at the disposal of British and American foreign policy as DPP. He defended security and police services from prosecution repeatedly and ruthlessly went after protestors. He genuinely is the security services prime minister. He has been working for them (MI5 and MI6) for over 20 years, since the time he became involved in a number of legal cases in Northern Ireland, including defending Lee Clegg. So this is Starmer's play-book. His career and instincts tell us he will securitise the fuck out of everything often in very draconian directions. Wait until you see the AI surveillance state they try to build in a single parliamentary term, working with Blair's TBI and Faculty AI (Dom Cumming's mates).

Certain sections of society, are growing more and more annoyed/angry/frustrated by a.) it and b.) any mainstream politician's unwillingness to discuss it in detail. They are now being egged on by Robinson & Farage to a great or lesser extent.

I appreciate that Muslims don't represent an homologous religious/social/economic block of people, but from a purely numbers point of view; the number of Muslims in the UK has increased from 50,000 in 1961 to 3.8m in 2021. With a more than doubling of numbers between 2001 and 2021.

Due to the demographics of current immigrants to the UK and birth rates within the general Muslim population, those numbers are only going to continue to grow, and grow exponentially.

Certain sections of society have been and are now increasingly rubbing up against each other (actual & perceived), and it's causing sparks.

The political/social issue is not going to go away.

The Tories have always fucked the poor and New Labour ended up pandering to the rich to get in and forgetting their roots. When you ignore a whole section of society , the poorest one at that, then you’re opening yourself up to the rise of the likes of Trump, Le Pen, Farage and their nationalistism …

About the rise of the organised right. He mentioned the Jo Cox murder and went down a rabbit hole of getting into the motivations of the crank that killed her and where that led to the groups and materials he had. It’s been there for a long time and sitting relatively quietly on the side lines while Islamic Fundamentalism was the headline act on the news front.

Looks like these Neanderthal cunts are gaining some momentum and feel that it’s their time to shine.

It then leads me back to conversations I had around Russia / Chinese global interference with security types - I was mainly interested in Africa, but the strategy as explained to me is that Russian and Chinese aims to destabilise the West is relatively easily achieved in a cost effective way by covertly funding fringe groups in any target country. Not too expensive to fund and motivate both the Islamic mob and the right wing twats from Moscow and watch the UK struggle with rising tensions between both. Thrown in some media bot farm echo chambers and you can cook up quite a lot of social unrest in a low cost and resource light way.

It is unlikely to end the UK, but it sucks up resources, draws focus internally and makes it hard for politicians to justify funding and arms to Ukraine for example when the homestead is under a perceived threat for example.
